To send marketing text messages, carriers require that customers clearly consent to receiving texts. Following the requirements below will help ensure your 10DLC campaign is approved.Key Requirements
Your website lead form must be publicly accessible and include:- A phone number field.
- An unchecked checkbox where the customer explicitly agrees to receive marketing text messages.
- The name of your business in the consent language.
- Language stating that message frequency varies and that message and data rates may apply.
- Instructions that users can reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.
- Links to your Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions are located near the checkbox.
- Make sure your legal business name is in the Terms & Conditions page.
- The checkbox cannot be pre-selected.
Privacy Policy Requirement
Your Privacy Policy should include language similar to: “Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
